Race Schedule and Results

I had to...

Since Tom and I discussed last night that he and I will never be doing another WTC event, I had to post this video. ***WARNING*** There are a couple of F-bombs dropped so don't have it up too loud at work!

My sentiments EXACTLY! All the more reason Rev3 is going to do amazing... and why races like the Great Floridian and the Full Beach 2 Battleship are going to start selling out. Yay for smaller race companies that treat athletes like athletes, no billionaires.

OMG that is ridiculous!

I was wondering what all the hubbaloo was on twitter last night about IM Access. Now I know.

I thoroughly enjoyed Vineman and would recommend that race to anyone interested in a smaller NON-IM event.

Is it made of unicorn skin! HA!

Pretty much sums it all up right there.

I am convinced that in the near future you are going to have to volunteer to be a volunteer to be able to sign up to be a volunteer.

I saw this before, I love it! I agree will definitely help out the "small guys". I wiould imagine this will push a lot of people over the edge and into a REV3 type event.

Great video. I was in disbelief when I got that email yesterday.

I think WTC pissed off a lot of people with this one. I really hope Rev3 & others take advantage of this and build up their fan base/race agenda!

OMG, it makes me so mad the way WTC did this...I laughed about, "is the card made out of unicorn skin?" Seriously, it is ridiculous. It makes me nervous they are tapping into Oly distance races now...

Except, IM just pulled their "Access" program. Hopefully the damage was already done. Go Rev3.

it is SO ridiculous. HOWEVER i must say that even though "we" say we won't sign up for another IM event - we will, or at least i know i will. simply bc honestly there are so little well-run races out there.

I found a post cancellation video, have you seen that one yet? I posted it. What a mess this became, I get its a business, but a business is only as successful as its perception.

I didn't watch it cause I'm at work....in a cube.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought you've got to be freakin kidding when I got the IM Access email. I don't even really get what it is. The best I could tell you pay a $1000 to register a week early for your event?

Rev3...70.3 in Costa Rica. I'm SO THERE. Maybe not 2011 but 2012 for sures!

I love it! how can I share this?

Ironman backed away from their Ironman access program and apologized, though.
